Going on Your First Treasure Hunt

This video introduces children to Treasure Hunt Books and teaches the unique reading process that enables them to go on treasure hunts within a book. Each child learns the three-step hunt process by doing it 14 times in about 15 minutes—ideal preparation for embarking on the Level A hunts independently!

Before starting the video, give each child a pencil, a copy of the book entitled Your First Treasure Hunt, and an Answer Sheet (see page one) or a piece of paper. The video includes a brief introduction and conclusion, both of which are optional.
